Our approach to Wesleyan customer reviews

We are proud of the services we provide our customers and welcome all feedback from those we do business with. From time to time, we will promote honest reviews on our social media channels and marketing communications. However, we do not support the creation or publication of any reviews which are not based on a genuine experience with Wesleyan.

We follow strict protocols when it comes to customer reviews and our policy outlines how this is achieved.

  • Fake reviews
  • We do not publish nor commission fake reviews of any nature. We would not promote any reviews which we know are or believe to be fake.

    100% of Trustpilot reviews are written by customers who have not been incentivised.

    Google reviews are not verified by Google, but Google checks for and removes fake content when it's identified through their automated detection which uses algorithms to identify patterns that indicate fake reviews.

  • Removal of suspected fake reviews
  • If we reasonably suspect a review to be fake, we will take steps to remove it or request its removal from any known websites that are not managed by Wesleyan.

  • Incentivisation
  • We do not incentivise, nor would we attempt to conceal any type of incentivisation related to the publication of customer reviews whether these are via independent review websites or personally provided to Wesleyan by customers.

  • The use of influencers
  • We do not use influencers to advertise our products or services. Should we do so in the future, we will clearly state in any communication that the promotion is an #AD.

  • Controls to mitigate fake reviews
  • We implement clear controls and steps to prevent fake reviews from being published within our communications, whether on our own platforms or third-party platforms such as Trustpilot and Google.

    This includes regular checks and follow-ups for such reviews where possible (such as where a full name is used for a 3rd party website review).

    Review sites such as Trustpilot also have robust internal checking systems in place to remove fake reviews or suspicious activity.

  • Welcoming all reviews
  • All customer reviews, whether positive or negative, are welcome. We will not alter or remove any reviews unless they are fake, banned, contain personally identifiable information, or are derogatory towards named colleagues.
