What’s not covered?
Unfortunately, travel insurance can’t insure you for every eventuality. Here are a few things your policy won’t cover:
- Travel to a destination which the Foreign & Commonwealth Office has advised against all or all but essential travel
- If you travel while pregnant 12 weeks before or 12 weeks after your estimated date of delivery
- Any trip that you take to obtain medical treatment (whatever the nature of this treatment) or against the advice of a medically qualified doctor or after being given a terminal prognosis
